NM4 is an advanced ultra-high performance multi-DSP CompactPCI board
designed for hard real-time video and image processing, signal processing
and artificial neural networks.
Eight external communication ports with speed up to 20 Mbyte/sec each;
CompactPCI bus with speed up to 30 Mbyte/sec.
NM4 enables software engineers to use vector-matrix calculations in their
own applications most efficiently than ever. NM4 is supplied with strong
software development tools including C++ compiler, assembler, debugger,
low-level vector matrix libraries and high-level Image Processing Blocks.
NM4 contains four high-performance 64-bit NeuroMatrix® NM6403
RISC/DSP processors. The processors are supported by 4 MB of SRAM on a
local 64-bit bus, and 2 MB of SRAM on a global 64-bit bus. 1 MB of Flash
memory and 128 MB of shared SDRAM memory permit a read/write access both
from processors and from CPCI controller. The NM4 has eight external communication
ports hardware compatible with TI TMS320C4x DSP and site for optional
IndustryPack® (IP) mezzanine modules expansion. A broad selection
of Video/AD/DA/DIO mezzanine modules for Industrial Control, Data Acquisition,
Digital, Analog, Serial, Motion Control, Data Storage and Networking is
available at RTSoft company.
